A Biofield—commonly referred to as the aura—is a field of subtle energy and information that surrounds and permeates all living organisms. The term biofield was formally recognized by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 1992 to describe this complex, dynamic system of electromagnetic and subtle energies that maintain communication within and around the body.
The biofield interacts with our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects, playing a vital role in regulating health and well-being. A vibrant and balanced biofield supports harmony, vitality, and resilience throughout the body’s systems.
When the biofield becomes imbalanced or stagnant, it can affect the flow of energy and lead to disharmony on physical or emotional levels. These imbalances can be restored through various energy-balancing practices, such as Biofield Tuning, Sound Healing, Reiki, Touch Therapy, BioGeometry, and other holistic modalities that promote energetic alignment and flow.
Your aura—or biofield—is a reflection of your body’s energy flow, vitality, and inner balance. Each color seen in your field represents a different type of energy and state of being. The shades and brightness can shift from moment to moment, showing where your system is balanced, energized, or calling for support.
A bright, radiant field shows vitality and openness. Dull, faded, or “washed out” colors may suggest low energy, fatigue, or imbalance.
Your biofield shifts as your energy changes—reflecting your thoughts, emotions, environment, and state of health. The goal isn’t a “perfect” color pattern, but awareness, balance, and flow.
Linked to the base chakra. Bright, balanced red shows strong vitality and physical energy. Thick or dark red areas can reflect tension, congestion, or overactivity in that region.
Connected with the navel (sacral) chakra. Often seen in healthy, active fields. Orange shows emotional warmth, creativity, and life energy. Dull or patchy orange may indicate low vitality or emotional fatigue.
Relates to the solar plexus chakra. Bright yellow suggests confidence, clear thinking, and active energy. You might also see yellow near the heart area when there’s strong “electrical” or muscular activity.
Traditionally the color of the heart chakra. Green shows harmony, renewal, and the body’s natural healing ability. It often appears where the body is restoring balance or clearing stress.
Connected to the throat chakra. Blue reflects peace, communication, and emotional expression. It may also appear where the body is cooling or soothing inflammation.
Linked to the brow (third eye) chakra. Violet is often seen in people with strong intuitive or meditative energy and a connection to higher consciousness.
Associated with the crown chakra. White light indicates high vibration, unity, and balance across the whole field. When the crown is open and balanced, white may radiate above the head.
Black areas can represent an absence of energy or light. They may appear during times of emotional heaviness, fatigue, or physical stress. They can also occur simply due to lighting conditions in the scan.
